About Us — Saluni Foundation

Built on Compassion, Driven by Purpose

We are a team of ordinary people committed to extraordinary change — serving vulnerable communities across Pakistan with dignity, transparency, and care.

A Story That Started With One Act of Kindness

Saluni Foundation was founded in 2018 by a small group of healthcare professionals and community volunteers who witnessed firsthand how rural families in Pakistan suffered without access to basic medical care. What began as weekend eye camps in southern Punjab quickly revealed a deeper crisis — millions of Pakistanis lacked not just healthcare, but food security, education, and dignity.

Unlike traditional NGOs that operate top-down, Saluni was built on a ground-up philosophy. We hire from the communities we serve, publish every rupee spent, and treat every beneficiary as a partner, not a recipient. Our approach combines professional expertise with deep cultural understanding.

Today, Saluni Foundation operates across 6 major cities and 40+ rural locations, running five core programs that serve over 64,000 patients monthly, provide 3,000 meals daily, and have trained 1,200+ individuals in vocational skills.

Our Mission

Our mission is to serve vulnerable communities across Pakistan with dignity, transparency, and unwavering compassion. We believe every person deserves access to healthcare, education, and nourishment — and that small actions, when multiplied by collective generosity, create ripples of lasting change across generations.

🔭

Our Vision

We envision a Pakistan where no community is left behind — where quality healthcare reaches the remotest village, where every child has access to education, and where dignity is not a privilege but a right. By 2035, we aim to expand our reach to all provinces, serving 500,000 patients monthly and creating 10,000 self-sufficient graduates.

Six Values That Guide Every Decision

These are not posters on a wall. They are the principles tested in the field every single day.

01

Compassion

We serve with empathy first. Every patient, student, and beneficiary is treated as family — not a case number. Our teams are trained to listen before they act.

02

Transparency

Every rupee is tracked and published. We release annual audit reports, share real-time program data, and believe donors deserve to know exactly where their money goes.

03

Dignity

We never hand out aid — we build partnerships. Whether it is a patient in a clinic or a trainee in our skills center, everyone is treated with respect and agency.

04

Excellence

We refuse to let limited resources mean limited quality. Our mobile clinics use professional-grade equipment, and our training programs meet industry standards.

05

Inclusion

From transgender empowerment to rural women's education, we actively reach Pakistan's most marginalised groups — ensuring no one is invisible in our work.

06

Sustainability

We do not create dependency. Every program is designed to eventually run independently — whether through local volunteer networks or skilled graduates earning their own income.
